Our Post is more than a building, more than a bar, and more than a meeting place. It’s a community. It’s a place where veterans and their families can connect, support one another, and continue to serve the nation and the towns we call home. Whether you’re looking for camaraderie, mentorship, volunteer opportunities, or simply a place where people understand your experiences, you will find it here.

At Post 1771, we honor the traditions of the VFW while working every day to strengthen our impact in Erie and the surrounding area. From supporting local veterans and families, to hosting community events, to teaching flag etiquette and patriotic values, our mission is simple: to serve.
